Preparare
From a few simple ingredients to divine tacos, all in just a few easy-to-follow steps:
Prepare the sauce:
Heat the oil in a pan, then sauté the onion and garlic until golden. Add the spices (oregano, paprika, cumin, cinnamon) and stir well for 1 minute to release their flavors.
Cook the meat:
Stir in the apple cider vinegar, concentrated beef stock, tomato passata, thyme, and bay leaf. Bring the mixture to a boil, then add the Food&Glory pulled beef along with all the sauce from the package. Cover with a lid and transfer to a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) for 30 minutes or longer if you prefer a more intense flavor.
Prepare the marinated onion:
Place the diced onion in a bowl of cold water to reduce its sharpness. Drain it well, then mix it with lime juice and freshly chopped coriander.
Prepare the mixture:
Remove the meat from the oven and transfer half of the sauce to a separate container. Mix the pulled beef with the remaining sauce, shredding it slightly.
Assemble the tacos:
Heat the tortillas in a pan: brush one side with the reserved sauce, brown them first on the dry side, then flip and add grated mozzarella, pulled beef, marinated onion, coriander, and extra mozzarella. Fold the tortilla and keep it on the heat until the cheese melts.
Serve:
Arrange the tacos on a platter and serve them warm, alongside the delicious sauce in which the meat was cooked. Enjoy your meal!
